Somewhere over the rainbow.

Spent my entire day at Pulau Ubin with my GESL group.
My very first trip there, pretty interesting,
maybe I do love the nature after all.
Didn't bring my camera, survived on my phone's 3.2 MP only,
group pictures with the photographer, so another day alright!

Anyway, I forced myself up at 7am, with just 3 hours of sleep the night before.
Took the longest train ride ever down to Tampines,
then the longest bus ride ever to Changi Jetty,
and lastly, the most awesome boat ride to another island.

Weather was pretty hot before 3pm, and so may mozzies were buzzing around,
but fear not, insect repellent and sun block were available,
thanks to my groupmates, teehee.
Guess what, instead of cycling or walking around,
my group got a ride on a van, not on any ordinary van,
but the very common blue Police van.
Apparently we were helping the Bukit Panjang Police Centre to organise
this particular event for the youths, so they offered to give a ride around the island.
The craziest ride ever, I swear.
As you know, there is no traffic there so the driver was speeding and 'drifting'
like mad. The tyre actually rolled over a huge snake while he was driving HAHAHAHA.
In fact, the van rolled over two snakes, the other one's slightly smaller.
So glad I am still alive now.

At the end of the day, all of us are just glad to know that
the kids enjoyed themselves, as much as we did.
While the kids were dismissed and returned to the campsite,
we headed down to the NPCC campsite to seek shelter due to the sudden rain.
Sohail, Kenneth, MingHwee, Nerine, Jason & MingLong played Poker
with Suflower seeds, cause no gambling allowed.
But MingLong and I ended up eating all the seeds;
and they think I look like a hamster eating the seeds, KNS.
After dinner, we played Indian Poker, with three bottles of 1.5L of mineral water.
Loser finish at least a quarter of a bottle each round,
mind you, it was right after dinner, BLOATED.
And to quote them, 'If we play with beer, Keli will sure fight to lose.'

Random, we saw Dogs making out and flirting with one another
while waiting for our ferry at night.
Pretty uhm, weird.
The journey back was super mega tiring, I was like dozing off here and there.

Okay to my GESL groupmates, thanks for making today so enjoyable.
We did ourselves proud, so have a good rest everyone!
