This is one of the craziest nights ever in the year 2009.
I don’t know what did we drink exactly, and I was all DRENCHED at the end of the day and dancing in the middle of the road during the wee hours.
2.Highlights of 2009.
Been there, done that, it has been a real busy year. Love the awesome 20th birthday party organized by my mom. I love my mom and I can never get sick of saying it. Besides that, 9th December 2009 marks a year since the day I broke my left collar bone. The pain returns occasionally but the memory lasts forever. Also, not to forget the very exciting trip to KL with my friends, just to catch Manchester United in action. Attended many birthday parties, seen many different faces, met many new people, and made a bunch of new friends. Spent this year’s Christmas shopping with my brother in the afternoon and the night with my Primary school friends (as usual), a BBQ at Gordon’s place. It’s a simple one but I do cherish the time spent with them. Met up with some IJC mates this year, love all the crazy morning breakky dates with Foong and Yolanda, when I say crazy, I really mean it, HAHA!
3.Before the year 2009, I was a person who hates the crowd in clubs, detest the smell of alcohol, and fear the fact that beer gives you a belly. What happened in the year 2009 is definitely something that requires a very detailed explanation, but however, I have no idea what happened to me as well. It has indeed been a very memorable year for me; especially seeing my friends, one by one, puking in clubs, drunk dial me, pinching me, slapping me, rolling on the road, getting bounced out, spouting nonsense and not to mention all the hanky panky in the dark, HAHA! Thanks for the hangover this year! ESP BKG HAHAHA!
4.
I think I only managed to see this group of friends like no more than 5 times this year. Imagine how we used to meet up at least once every fortnight after graduating from Cedar, and remember there was once in sec 3 or 4, I actually met Weiting for the entire week of 7days. Though we only got to spend this little time this year, we are still as close as ever. They are the only group of people who can ever see me in Kbox looking stupid and retarded and dancing to Beyonce’s Single Ladies. I love you all – Weii,Mich&Vith.
5.
Here’s the last group of people I met before I left Singapore few days ago. Delifrance’s breakfast never taste that good and sweet, but all thanks to Roomie Novia, Jieming & Weiyun. I always feel safe with you guys around, I can say whatever I want to say or feel and know that you guys will definitely understand me no matter what. After staying with Roomie for 4 months, we are beginning to think alike, maybe we gossiped too much during our free time. We’re discovering something new about each other every day. Her love for neatness and sweeping/mopping the floor, my need for coffee and biscuits in the early morning.
6.Beanies were formed some 3 years ago. Reunited some few months ago (sadly, was in Phuture HAHA!) Somehow we don’t seem that close now, perhaps we are all busy with our own life and Mel’s always not in Singapore. It’s a pity we only get to meet up that little in a year, but better than nothing. I wouldn’t dare think about how our lives will become when all of us start working next time, battling for the fat pay check. We are definitely not going to meet in Zouk next time; this is a joke, each time we gather, it’s ALWAYS in Zouk, no matter how we always warn each other, ‘No clubbing uh,’ and ‘I don’t want to club today okay!’ Meet up soon!
7.My first semester in Uni is finally over, though results aint that fantastic, but I am still glad that I pulled through those disgusting time in lectures/tutorials/exams. All thanks to my new found friends. They have been real great let me tell you. Like calling me when they don’t see me in class cause they know I would still be snoozing my time away, laughing at me when they hear my noisy stomach growl in lectures, saying things like ‘wha you went clubbing again last night uh’ when they see my puffy and half opened eyes in the morning, helping me with tutorials, making me travel all the way to airport just to eat popeyes and sharing food with me when I have long hours in school without breaks in between.
8.This girl is a superwoman to me. Without her, the first half of my year would have been a complete crap/rubbish. She was there for me all the time, no matter how busy she was, she would always take the time out for me. My first time getting drunk on Tequila shots, she was there to buy me mineral water, bringing me to the toilet and sending me home. On top of that, she’s always stuffing me with good food, not my fault to be fat; she’s always making me eat, HAHA! There was once we quarreled and she ignored me the whole night, I walked out to the swing near my place, sat there and cried, how pathetic. Yes, I am that emotional. Can’t wait to see you, Jinyu! :)
9.Some things do not require me to say much. I know of people who are stalking me here and there, wanting to find out more about my life and dying to find out so many things. I have left many things unspoken and that I have to admit. Spare a thought and bear in mind the position I am in now. I know of many consequences I might have to face, I am ready but I don’t need you to make them happen. I have my reason for not being frank at times and avoiding some issues. But I have to say this; you will never understand Keli till you get through what she has been going through. Ask me questions only when you are confident of keeping the answers to yourself.
10.
There you go, the person who buys me breakfast, lunch, dinner and supper, drives me around to find a doctor when I am sick, carries my shopping bags, hears me whine and complain, listens to me nag, watches me pout, allows me to pinch and poke, takes care of me when I am drunk, drives me from one end of Singapore to the other end, makes me go speechless all the time, puts me through various emotions, makes me nice kaya toast, has the most retarded expression that makes me smile all the time, always asking me ‘what do you wanna eat?’, makes me stock up the green tea supply in my fridge subconsciously, sends Yoguru yoghurt down to ntu for me, laughs at me for everything even at my pink bed sheet and the broccoli I like to eat, begs me for lapdance, remembers sesame street’s performance timings for me, stops me from shopping, switches off the lights in my room, made me overcome the fear of sitting in a speeding car, pushes me against the walls in shopping malls just for fun, texts me almost round the clock, got jealous over the piglet in my room, taught me how to play the guitar, finished a tub of ice cream with me, blew-dry my hair for me, helped to destroy termites in my old house, had beer and kaya toast with me in the rain at my balcony, watches don’t know how many hours of tv with me, has the exact same GPA as me this sem, has five moles on the face, supports manU like I do and most importantly, makes me happy and changed my entire 2009.
It has indeed been an awesome year. Been through a lot, and felt so grown up all of a sudden. It’s time to shake clubbing and drinking off my lifestyle. Turning 21 in less than a month, time flies. Before I forget, dear all please keep your 23rd January 2010 free, I’ll be celebrating my 21st birthday on that day; would love to see all my friends under one roof teehee! Details another day :)
Alright, enough said, HAVE A BLAST, HAVE AN EXCTING 2010, HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE!
